Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran team up for a hot, new duet!
On Friday, the two pop stars released their song, I Don’t Care, and we seriously can’t stop listening to the catchy jam!
Despite releasing new music, the What Do You Mean? singer’s upcoming album will NOT be coming soon.
As we reported last month, sources said JB will most likely not drop a new LP for another year.
However, the Canadian crooner is reportedly working on a new sound, and has already recorded a few songs. Additionally, insiders said Justin feels centered, and is excited to get back on the studio grind.
In March, the 25-year-old wrote a lengthy message on Instagram saying his family and health are more important to him than dropping new tracks.
“So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album .. I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realized and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour. I have been looking, seeking, trial and error as most of us do, I am now very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be. Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health. I will come with a kick ass album ASAP, my swag is undeniable and my drive is indescribable his love is supernatural his grace is that reliable…. the top is where I reside period whether I make music or not the king said so… but I will come with a vengeance believe that.. (grammar and punctuation will be terrible pretend it’s a text where u just don’t care).”
Despite this, during the second week of Coachella, Bieber triumphantly returned to the stage by joining Ariana Grande‘s performance.
Speaking to the shocked crowd, Grande admitted that Bieber’s appearance was a spur of the moment thing, explaining:
“Coachella, I wasn’t gonna bring any guests out tonight, but my friend Justin Bieber came all the way out to spend some time with y’all, and we thought it might be fun to do something for you guys. This was not planned at all. Thank you for being here Justin, we love you so much.”
After he performed Sorry, JB said to the audience:
“I haven’t been on a stage in like two years. I had no idea I was gonna be on a stage tonight, absolutely no idea.”
Justin is, slowly but surely, reclaiming his title as the Prince of Pop!
